School of Fashion
The nascent School of Fashion at VETIAS, offering highly dynamic courses, was founded in 2021. Our programme offers the freedom to develop one’s own creative style, using traditional skills alongside innovative techniques. We encourage our students to explore emerging issues and innovations in the fashion industry, and experiment with patterns and materials to create their own individual approach. Our students work in purpose-built studios, and are rigorously trained in core topics such as sketchbook development, visual research, sustainability and design, construction techniques and materials, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and fashion portfolio skills.
Vintartsy: The Fashion and Design Association
Vintartsy: The Fashion and Design Association was founded with a strong intent to foster exchange of fashion and design associated knowledge among the student community. The association conducts periodic sessions ranging from guest lectures, hands-on workshops, intra-school fashion walks and in-depth courses on correlated technology among many. One of the future prospects of the school is to establish an annual platform that will serve as a launch pad for upcoming designers. All students pursuing programmes of the School are members of this association.
