On the School of Fashion

The School of Fashion, through its programme, offers the freedom to develop one’s own creative style, using traditional skills alongside innovative techniques. We, encourage our students to explore emerging issues and innovations in the fashion industry, and experiment with patterns and materials to create their own individual approach. Our students work in purpose-built studios, and are rigorously trained in core topics such as sketchbook development, visual research, sustainability and design, construction techniques and materials, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and fashion portfolio skills.

The course is delivered by members of faculty with extensive academic experience and strong industry connections; who are well placed to advise on the students’ portfolio of work and how best to pursue their future goals
Freedom is offered to our students to enable them to develop their own creative style whilst gaining essential practical and research skills which will put them on the path to a successful career in fashion design
Our students practise traditional skills alongside innovative digital techniques, benefitting from unlimited studio access and state-of-the-art facilities
Regular external industry expert sessions and study visits are organised to provide our students with professional insights
