VET IAS School of Computing, "Chetana" Department of Computer Science organized a workshop on "EMPOWERING SMARTER PERSONAL FINANCIAL DECISIONS (Sponsored by SEBI)" on 28th December 2024. The session was led by Dr. K. Prabakaran, Director of EDIFY EdTech, Coimbatore, a renowned expert in financial literacy and education technology.The workshop on Empowering Smarter Personal Financial Decisions emphasized building financial literacy for better money management.

It covered effective budgeting techniques, saving strategies, and debt reduction approaches. Participants learned about investment basics and the importance of goal-oriented financial planning. Practical tools and real-life examples were shared to simplify complex financial concepts.The session also highlighted the role of technology in tracking expenses and optimizing finances. Engaging in discussions and Q&A ensured actionable takeaways for participants.
