Human Brain and Nervous System

Rotaract Club of VET IAS organizes "Unlocking the Secrets of Human Brain and Nervous System". The resource person was Dr. Gayathri Umasankar, MD DM Neurology, Srinivasa Specialty Hospital, Erode on 27th December 2024.The session started by highlighting the complexity and importance of the brain and nervous system in human health and behavior. The nervous system is often described as the body's "command center," controlling everything from basic life-sustaining functions like heartbeat and breathing to higher cognitive functions such as thinking, learning, and memory.
