The School of Mathematics was founded in 2019 with a motto of combining the power and diversity of the pure and applied techniques of mathematics and to ensure Mathematical collaborations both within and beyond VETIAS. The School provides the freshers, rather the beginners, with bridge courses to get acquainted with the preliminaries of mathematics and its techniques. The school also trains its students in the rigor and precision characteristics of mathematical reasoning. Alongside teaching, our members of the faculty actively engage in research by participating in conferences / seminars and collaborative works at the national and international institutes / universities.

Ameya: The Mathematics Association

The primary objective of Ameya: The Mathematics Association is to foster a community of students around a common interest in mathematics. The association members will have opportunities to apply and improve their math skills by participating in competitions and learning circles. Members shall also be able to engage with colleagues in the discipline by attending math conferences and will participate in social gatherings aimed at advancing interactions with their cohort. All students who learn courses offered by the School of Mathematics are members of the association.
