Manjal’25 – Fest of Joy

Velalar College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) and VET Institute of Arts and Science (VET IAS) successfully hosted Manjal'25 - Fest of Joy, a vibrant cultural extravaganza that brought together students, faculty, and distinguished guests. The event, held on March 21, 2025, at College Ground, featured an array of spectacular performances, including a cultural event, and an electrifying live musical night by renowned playback singer Mr. Karthik, performing in Erode for the first time. The presence of esteemed chief guests- Mr. Anandhakrishnan Devaraj, National Head Engineering Hiring at Wipro Ltd., educator, anchor, and comedian Mr. Erode Mahesh, and Ms. Priyanka Deshpande, a popular television presenter-added prestige to the evening.

The function was graced by the President, Secretary and Correspondent and trust members of Vellalar Educational Trust. College Principals, administrative officers, Heads of various departments, staff, students and parents participated in the function. The celebration commenced with the traditional lighting of kuthuvilakku and a felicitation speech by Thiru. S.D. Chandrasekar, Secretary and Correspondent of Vellalar Educational Trust. The crowd was enthralled by Erode Mahesh's engaging speech and students' cultural performances. The highlight of the evening was Karthik's live music concert, which captivated the audience with his mesmerizing voice. The night concluded with a DJ session, ensuring a fitting end to a joyous and unforgettable celebration.
