VET IAS School of Commerce organized International Conference (Hybrid Mode) on "Innovation in Entrepreneurship & Start-ups" on 27.02.2025. The conference was graced by Dr. Jugindar Singh, Associate Professor at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation, Malaysia and Mr. Guru Shankar Selvam, Project Lead at Erode & Salem Reginal Hubs of StartupTN, Thiru S. D. Chandrasekar (Secretary & Correspondent Vellalar Educational Trust), Dr. V. P. Nallaswamy (Principal), Dr. S. Logesh Kumar (Administrative Officer), Faculties and Students from various colleges.

Dr. Jugindar Singh, Associate Professor at Asia Pacific University of Technology, USA talked about the transition from traditional entrepreneurship to social communities. Entrepreneurship within social communities can lead to significant positive change by addressing local needs, creating jobs, and fostering a sense of community.

Mr. Guru Shankar Selvam, project lead and start up government of Tamil Nadu, erode talked about the career of start-up ideas learnt how to earn money through social media. A start-up is a newly established business venture created to solve a unique problem. Start-ups typically focus on scalability and rapid growth, aiming to achieve significant market impact.

More than 600 Students has participated in various colleges presented their papers both online and offline mode. The students have gotten the knowledge of Innovation, entrepreneurship, and start-ups by creating jobs and boosting economies in global collaboration.
